About This Project

No words describe this house. This is just a thing of beauty. The detail, so so much detail I could go on for hours. What a project to be apart of, this is one ill remember forever. John and Janet wanted to extend the rear of the home but still keep with the federation style. So we pulled all the bells and whistles out for this one! We copied everything from the exisiting house, from the cedar shingle gables, the lining board soffits, the custom made lead light windows, the timber ceiling battens and cornice, the window arches in the brickwork- right down to the the way the skirting was installed (timber wedges fixed into the brickwork and the skirting hand nailed to the wedges) yes it’s the little things that make the big difference. John and Janet did not want to damage or change the back of the home so we came up with a design and built a mirror image gable 2m past the existing house and tied the 2 sections together with 2 massive sheets of glass to allow light to enter and the existing house to be shown off- this made all the difference. Thanks John and Janet you tirelessly worked with us to complete this project thank you for letting us be apart of it!
